6 ways to deal with negative thoughts.

A negative thought is always destructive. It always drains out the energy and makes your mind so powerless. We should know how to deal with negative thoughts because if it escalates to a certain level then it makes our life dreary. It can be an obstacle in our day-to-day life if it is ignored.

See positive things around you :

it is very easy to see or observe negative things, but it is very challenging to positive things around you. So, try to see positivity around it. Also, let yourself know that sometimes it is OK to feel negativity around you, it is OK to feel like that. Try to notice what you are good at, what excellent things are there in your surroundings, and embrace it.

Know your surroundings:

it is important to know with whom you are friends with whom you are surrounded because it impacts you. There is a quote by A.P.J. Abdul Kalam that 'One best book is equal to a hundred good friends, but one good friend is equal to a library.' Good people can brighten your life and negative people can worsen your life, so it is very significant to know the friends you hang out with. People who energize you or be there for you can always bring optimistic things to your life and vice versa.



Vent Out:

It is never good to keep things in your mind because it eats you up. so, either talk to someone with whom you are comfortable with or if you feel like no one understands you then write a Journal, it is the therapist recommended. You can always go to writing. Write your emotions, your negative things, and just tear them and throw them somewhere. You may feel good

Yoga:

Yoga has numerous benefits. Do it in the morning and evening. It brings positivity into your life. Do it for 15 to 20 minutes every morning and evening. it relieves stress. it calms your mind. It helps people overcome many negative things. It is great for your physical health as well. it will make you fit.

Go to the therapist:

if you feel like, negative thoughts are controlling you then it is never too late to go to the therapist. They can always recommend the best. They can take sessions or make you do worksheets that would also be fascinating, and you will learn how to tackle different kinds of situations.

Social Media detox:

sometimes we need to deactivate accounts of social media and breath some air. because it impacts mental health way too much. Try not to use social media for more than an hour. Don't use it on weekends or set a detox week according to your convenience.



Write journals: well, it is also recommended by therapists that if you write a Journal then it makes your mind very calm. Write all the things that make you happy, sad, depressed, frustrated, angry, etc. Do it for a month then you would notice that it works.
